History of Mind Healing via Acupuncture
There is a subtle electrical force that is emitted from each individual and even in our modern day this electrical energy is little understood. It can be measured with delicate instrumentation with fluctuations being heard through a process known as biofeedback.
More than five thousand years ago the very ancient schools taught that a force known as Qi emanated throughout the human body and this was often coined as being the vital life force. It is said that Qi is the cause of the subtle electrical force that animates our human bodies. Being able to use proper scientific controls to measure the vital life force is still impossible since it is truly metaphysical in nature. The movement in and around the human body of our electrical energy is known to occur like rivers and channels. Where these channels come together are referred to as meridians or a culmination point. By placing acupuncture needles in these locations the flow of electrical energy can be adjusted.
Although harmony is often thought of in the musical world it is also a condition of balance in nature. When people hear of the negativity of a disaster, such as a tsunami, often the sadness of the deaths involved is taken upon the shoulders of the individual receiving the news. That person then is in harmony with the sadness of the event. The same would be true for positive news such as the overwhelming joy of hitting the lottery. Harmony is a state of mind where the focus is influenced by environmental factors and diet. When the clarity of our metaphysical mind becomes fogged the focus can be restored by the art of acupuncture, which was well known by the ancients.
